Die fiktive Fahrradfirma Global Bike wird in einem realen SAP S/4HANA System mit einem umfangreichen Datensatz abgebildet. Global Bike ist ein mittelständisches Unternehmen mit den üblichen Abteilungen und Geschäftsvorgängen. Auszubildende und Studierende werden damit praxisnah in allen gängigen SAP-Prozessen ausgebildet und Dozierende bei der didaktischen Vermittlung integrierter Geschäftsprozesse unterstützt.

In realistischen Szenarien wird demonstriert, wie Unternehmensmitarbeitende typische betriebliche Teilprozesse eines mittelständischen, fertigenden Unternehmens bearbeiten. Die verwendeten Datensätze sind dabei an das Niveau der Lernenden angepasst und brechen die Komplexität eines SAP-Systems und betrieblicher Aufgaben auf verständliche Module und Lernschritte herunter.

Der Aufbau aller Global Bike Lehr- und Lernumgebungen ist identisch und besteht aus einsatzbereiten Präsentationen für die Theorievermittlung, Aufgaben, Fallstudien und Prüfungsaufgaben zum praktischen Umgang mit dem SAP-System.

Global Bike?
The fictitious bicycle company Global Bike is modelled in a real SAP S/4HANA system with an extensive database. Global Bike is a medium-sized company with the usual departments and business processes. This enables trainees and students to receive practical training in all common SAP processes and supports lecturers in the didactic teaching of integrated business processes.
Realistic scenarios are used to show how employees of the company handle typical operational sub-processes of a medium-sized manufacturing company. The data sets used are adapted to the level of the learners and break down the complexity of an SAP system and operational tasks into comprehensible modules and learning steps.

The structure of all Global Bike teaching and learning environments is identical and consists of ready-made presentations to teach the theory, tasks, case studies and examination tasks for the practical application of the SAP system.
The teaching content has a modular structure and can be flexibly integrated into courses. Lecturers also have access to extensive information on solutions, troubleshooting and success monitoring.

And for companies?
For companies that are interested in a didactically modelled SAP training environment in a real SAP system for their internal SAP training, we offer a separate SAP Model Company called Otto Bikes. The structure and content of the training environment is similar to that of Global Bike with corresponding slides, exercises and case studies. Otto Bikes is successfully used for internal SAP training and further training for employees and key users. As with Global Bike, the integrated business processes and SAP applications are taught in a real SAP system using practical scenarios and access to the SAP business software.
