Die Sichtfelder von Fahrzeugen sind begrenzt, was bei einem hohen Automatisierungsgrad des Verkehrs und der Notwendigkeit vollständiger und genauer Informationen über das Umfeld und die Umgebung kritisch wird.Das Exponat zeigt ein Konzept für einen fliegenden Drohnenassistenten für ein Fahrzeug, der eine externe Plattform für zusätzliche Sensoren darstellt. Außerdem werden Anwendungsbeispiele und Ergebnisse der Anwendung eines solchen Systems vorgestellt.Als Fahrzeugassistent verbessert die Drohne die Wahrnehmung der Steuerungssysteme und passt das Fahrzeug im Vorfeld an die Umgebung an.

Vehicles have a limited field of view, which becomes critical with high levels of traffic automation and the need for complete and accurate information about the environment and surroundings.
The exhibit shows a concept of a flying drone assistant for a vehicle, which is an external platform for additional sensors. Use cases and results of the application of such a system are also presented.
As a vehicle assistant, the drone improves the awareness of the control systems and adapts the vehicle to the environment in advance.
